Bubbles in the flush cycle are the result of naturally entrapped air not being vented completely.
Small bubbles are normal.
If you suspect an issue, troubleshoot with the following steps:
- Verify if there are any restricted rim holes
- Note the flow of water from the rim holes during the flush cycle.
- If any rim holes appear to be restricted, try cleaning with a paper clip. See also the article "How do I clean the toilet, toilet seat and bowl rim holes?"
- Verify that the toilet bowl is at trap seal
- Assure the water in the bowl is at the proper level at the completion of the flush cycle (Trap Seal).
- The trap seal for each bowl is different; check the specification sheet for that bowl.
