1) To remove the hose guide, you must first remove the spray hose from the unit.
2) Once removed, locate the hole in the bottom of the spout, where you can see part of the plastic hose guide.
Use a pin (or any small object that can be inserted into the hole). Push it into the hole, then pull out the hose guide.
