To remove and install a handle that uses a threaded handle assembly, you will need to:

  1. Unscrew the handle base
  2. Remove the handle
  3. Install the handle

 

Step 1 - Unscrew the handle base

a - Hold the base of the faucet handle and turn counter-clockwise until it is completely unscrewed.

Step 2 - Remove the handle

a - Once the handle base is loosened, pull the handle away from the faucet body. The handle should come off easily.

Step 3 - Install the handle

a - Install the handle onto the faucet. It should slide easily onto the cartridge stem or handle adapter.

b - Screw the handle base clockwise until it stops turning and the handle base is firmly attached to the faucet.
