How do I install my kitchen spray head?

To install a kitchen faucet spray head, you will need to:

  1. Remove the old spray head.
  2. Install the new spray head.
  3. Test for leaks.

Step 1 - Remove the old spray head

  1. Remove the old spray head by unscrewing the spray head from the spray hose counter-clockwise .
  2. Do not let go of the hose. Hold on to it to make sure that it does not retract back into the faucet body.

Step 2 - Install the new spray head

  1. To install the new spray head onto the hose, twist the threaded collar of the hose onto the threaded end of the spray head.
  2. Hand tighten.

Step 3 - Test for leaks

Turn the faucet on and use the spray head several times. If a water leak is visible, remove the spray head and inspect for damage. If no damage is visible, re-install and test again.
