Kitchen faucets with swivel spouts use a spout seal kit to prevent leaking. A spout seal kit consists of rubber seals and washers.
If your kitchen faucet has a swivel spout and is leaking at the base of the spout, then the spout seal kit may need to be replaced.
If replacing the spout seal kit does not resolve the issue, then the spout may need to be replaced.
