What is a “High Efficiency” Toilet (HET)?

Toilets that use 20% less water than standard toilets are called HET or High-Efficiency Toilets. The typical maximum water per flush allowed throughout the United States is 6 liters or 1.6 gallons per flush. In most homes, the toilet is one of the largest users of water. Converting to a HET toilet (4 liters or 1.28 gallons per flush) can save on average 8,000 gallons of water per year over the common 6 liters per flush toilet.

Gerber has many HET toilet selections and the superior design can perform better than many toilets that use more water. To find out more about the Gerber HET Toilet selections, visit the Gerber website here.
